Our collection gathers the great party and dance hits from across a multitude of genres and generations. We're spinning Big Band, Swing, Rock & Roll, Rockabilly, Motown, Classic Rock, Blues, Funk, Disco, 80's, 90's, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Latin, Top 40, and Country. Of course, we have all the great lounge artists as well, like Frank and Tony and Dean, Diana Krall, Madeleine Peyroux, and Eva Cassidy. We have old stuff, new stuff, forgotten stuff, and that new hit song you heard for the first time this week. We still get a lot of requests for line dances like the Cupid Shuffle, the Cha-Cha Slide, and so on, so you can bet we're keeping those in our collection, too.
So whether your favorite music goes shoop-shoop, doo-wop, doo-be-doo-be-doo, bow-chick-a-wow-wow, boom-shicka-boom, oonce-oonce-oonce, or whoopie-ti-yi-yo, and so on, and so on (and scooby dooby doo), we can probably play it. And that's f'shizzle!
Do you have Electro-Clash, Bohemian Club and 2-Step Garage music?
If you want special music we do not already have, we can probably get it for you. This past year we did a lot of cross-cultural weddings and purchased a lot of special music including Korean, Brazilian, Irish, Alternative, Bhangra, Dancehall Reggae, Trance, Classical music, and a whole lot of onesy-twosies in order to meet the needs of our clients. We have no idea what 2-Step Garage is, but if you want it, we can probably get it!Baby Got Bach!
Strings, piano, French horn, glockenspiel...it doesn't matter! If you want a specific kind of music for your wedding ceremony, we'll get it if we don't have it already. We can set the mood or follow your theme whether you want music with a quiet, comptemplative feel like "Sheep May Safely Graze" by Bach, or "Morning Mood" by Grieg, to something more rousing like Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries." Or perhaps you want a religious theme or more contemporary love ballads. Regardless, we can cover all your requests for the Prelude, Processional, Interlude, Recessional, and finally, the Postlude. Then, it's on to your reception!
Play that funky music, white boy!
We'll get to the funky stuff in a bit. A party goes through certain stages before the dance floor is primed for funk or disco or reggaeton. People need time to find their bearings, order a drink, and chat up that hottie across the room. We use our music to welcome people to your event, ease them into the evening, and gradually seduce them out onto the dance floor. When it's time, we'll pull the heavy beat from the record case, drop it like it's hot, and keep feeding the dance floor from there. The night has a beginning, middle, and end, and 4Most Sound has the music for each stage.
